Event Details

Join us for an inspiring evening with Tonya Wiley, a leading sawfish conservationist and President of Havenworth Coastal Conservation. Tonya will share the latest updates on the status of critically endangered smalltooth sawfish and provide insights into the impactful work of her foundation. This is an exclusive opportunity to learn how divers and enthusiasts can contribute to the protection of these fascinating creatures.

*Important Note for Divers
Sawfish are protected under the Endangered Species Act.  Our divers help protect this critically endangered species by following NOAA Fisheries viewing guidelines available at
www.SawfishRecovery.org. These guidelines aid our divers in safely, respectfully, and legally enjoying their encounter with a sawfish. The most important thing we follow when viewing a sawfish is to not disrupt its natural behavior.  We don’t disturb, chase, feed, or touch any sawfish we encounter while diving.

Why Attend?

  • Engage in Conservation: Tonya Wiley will discuss her journey and the critical efforts underway to save the smalltooth sawfish.

  • Interactive Q&A: Ask questions and deepen your understanding of sawfish preservation.

  • Support Ethical Diving Practices: Understand how your actions as a diver play a pivotal role in marine conservation.

Spaces are unlimited, but don’t wait! Click below to join the virtual event!
