We have a limited number of Scubapro’s Premier masks on sale. The Premier normally sells for $83; we’re now selling this great mask for
$49.95! The Scubapro/Uwatec Smart Z hoseless Nitrox computers with transmitter are also still on sale for $995 or $895 with
your trade in of any gauge or computer, working or not! The Smart Z usually sells for $1386. This is an unbelievable deal!
Now is the time to bring your regulator, BC and tanks in for service to beat the summer rush. Please do NOT
wait as turn around time is much quicker this time of year.
Cressi has come out with a new travel bag called the Apnea. This bag has pockets on both sides long enough to accommodate their
popular Gara fins leaving the roomy center compartment for the rest of your gear.
We have received some cool SC visors, just in time for summer. Make sure you check them out next time you go diving.

Mark your calendars for Sunday, May 25 at 6:30 p.m. After a great day of diving SC will once again be hosting our annual Memorial Day Party!
We’ll be grilling delicious Nathan’s hot dogs for everyone and also providing ice cold beer & sodas. Feel free to bring a side dish to share but it’s not mandatory.
We hope to get another good crowd, like we had Labor Day, by not having it on a “school” night and by providing some excellent food.
As always everyone bringing slides, digital photos or videos will be rewarded with a free dive! The limit for photos is 15 images and video length 5 minutes.
Remember your photographs/videos do not have to be dive related.
As a reminder we are offering Scuba Camp again this summer. What a success the Camps were last year! The starting dates are
June 16, July 7, July 21 and August 4. The camp runs Monday – Friday and includes full Scuba certification. Certified divers can also participate in
their own Scuba Camp! The Camp for certified divers runs anytime during June, July & August from Tuesday – Friday. Give us a call for more details!
Our summer dive schedule resumes in May. The major changes are a two-tank dive Wednesday mornings at 9 and Fridays we have a 9 am
single tank dive followed by a two-tank trip at 1. We’re all looking forward to a great summer of diving!
Our own Dave Paul recently graduated from PADI instructor school at the top of his class…or so he says. We look
forward to him teaching for us here at the SC.
Here at the SC we are constantly working to become more environmentally responsible, from sending out this newsletter electronically to
recycling everything from aluminum and plastic products to everyday office paper. Please help us in our recycling efforts.
There are only 2 spaces left on this year’s Cocos Island trip. We say it in every newsletter but this really is the trip of a lifetime. If there’s any
way you’re able to get away for 11-12 days in August this trip should not be missed. Just ask Ernie, Suzie, Wayne, JD or any of the
SC Members who’ve gone, you’ll hear the same thing…GO! More than half the divers each year are repeat visitors! We depart
on August 17 and are able to return on August 28. Give us a call if you have any questions or want more details.
We are frantically working on our annual Gulf Stream Eagle trip. The dates are August 31 – September 5 and we’ll be diving the lush reefs of
West End and the Northern Bahamas. The cost is $1700 and includes just about everything. A deposit of $850 is due now to secure your space.
Contact Dave for all the details.
Now we know why we haven’t seen Melissa Kendall diving lately…she’s been planning her September wedding to Jason Halliburton in the Smoky
Mountains. We wish her all the best and look forward to seeing her back diving soon!
